Chris, a native Texan, grew up in Southeast, Texas and received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s of science in Industrial Distribution. Following Texas A&M, Chris attended South Texas College of Law, where he served as the Dean of the Student Senate of Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity, Treasurer of Aggie Law Student Association as well as a participant in both mock and moot trial programs. He was also awarded the SBA President’s award in 2013.
Chris has devoted his legal practice to representing policyholders against their insurance companies in Texas and states throughout the country. Chris has handled numerous first-party claims, including both commercial and residential claims in both state and federal court. Chris’ experience includes lead counsel trial experience across Texas.
Since joining the Barton Law Firm, in April of 2020, Chris has expanded his practice to represent personal injury clients in addition to first party property claims.
Chris gives back to his community by serving as a volunteer for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo since law school.
